  • We're here to serve three groups. We help individuals, churches, and organizations through 1:1 coaching and workshops. 🚀

    • First, if you have a desire to grow in your leadership skills, you can be encouraged to know that we help people just like you daily.

    • Second, we help organizations build a healthy team culture through our specialized team-building workshops to help maximize your team’s awesomeness even more.

    • Third, we help leaders and organizations who seek to inspire people toward practical learning and growth through keynotes and workshops at conferences, retreats, and staff meetings.

We approach every client uniquely. We ask questions to learn all that we can about your situation. We have proven strategies and frameworks to come alongside you to get results. While the timing of those results differs depending on your goals, we will work to honor your time and budget while delivering great results.

Regardless of which service you're interested in, if you have questions, we want to answer them, which is why you can schedule a free 45-minute call at your convenience. And if you still have questions after receiving a proposal from us, no worries, we’re here to answer those questions too. We want to make sure you’re comfortable and understand every detail along the way. We’re here to help. Period.

To sum it all up, here’s what we agree to provide for each of our clients:

    1. A unique approach with practical and proven leadership and team culture development frameworks.

    2. A coach that will ask questions, encourage, challenge, and make learning engaging and easy to apply.

    3. The tools to develop your competence and confidence as a leader.

  • Great question. Let’s talk in first person for this one. Hi! 👋 Nicole Lucas here, founder and CEO. From a young age, I spent a lot of time in my mind, observing, learning, and working out situations. This superpower gave me the ability to get good at asking questions, strategizing, solving problems, telling stories, and coming alongside people to help them discover their gifts, passions, values, and areas of growth.

I got even better at this by having amazing mentors do the same for me. When you couple my experience with a degree in leadership, my certifications in the Enneagram and The Six Types of Working Genius, thousands more hours of research, and the daily practice of developing my leadership skills, then what you’ll find with The Creative Level are proven frameworks, led by me, that will help you get from where you are now, to where you want to be in an engaging and practical way. I’ve been where you are: you have a desire to learn, grow, and scale your life and leadership, but you’re not sure which path to take to do so. Now, I get to share with you what I’ve learned along the way. This is the heartbeat behind why I launched The Creative Level.

Why should my church work with you?

I have also spent the past 15 years developing my leadership skills by leading creative ministry and teams with diverse personalities at a large multi-site church.

My journey started as a volunteer serving in creative arts ministry. After a few years, God allowed me to join that team as an intern, which then led to a part-time staff position, followed by a full-time role, and after a few promotions, I’m now serving as the creative arts pastor—leading the same creative arts department I once volunteered for. I now have the amazing privilege of leading the worship and production staff across five campuses. It has been a complete joy to lead and to develop the individuals that have been entrusted to my care and leadership.

Because of my time as a leader in ministry, I can understand your context. It also means that I can speak the language of senior leadership and the language of the people serving on your teams.

  • Gosh, you're full of great questions! 😉 I'm glad you asked.

First, let’s start with the why: Research has found that effective leadership doesn't happen by simply reading leadership books and taking on-demand online courses. Rather, true development happens through experience and accountability. Did you know that 81% of people managed by a trained leader said they were more engaged in their jobs? 60% of first-time managers say they never received any training when they transitioned into their first leadership role, and 50% of managers are rated as ineffective. These statistics help us understand why 66% of organizations said they would take action to develop their current and future leaders in the next six months (The O.C. Tanner Institute 2023 Global Culture Report and the Center of Creative Leadership). These statistics also reinforce the importance of working with a leadership development coach who has the training and experience to help you accelerate your leadership potential.

Second, the cost depends on the service. But each service begins with a FREE consult call with Nicole.

Nonprofit organizations, if you have a budget in mind, please let us know when you contact us, and we can discuss options to help you achieve your goals within your budget.

All workshops require a 25% retainer fee. The retainer acts as a deposit to reserve a spot in our workshop queue. The deposit is deducted from the total. The remaining balance is due between 7-10 days upon completion of the workshop.

Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes, we do have a contract for a few of our services (i.e. workshops, cohorts, and speaking engagements). But it's nothing scary. We like to keep things simple. You can click here to see a sample of our contract.
